Welcome Packet Idea
I am a scrapbooker so I am always looking for new creative ideas to use in my weddings. This one I found in a recent Martha Stewart Wedding issue. She has the best creative geniuses working for her! This is a simple way to let your out of towners know what activities are going on during your wedding weekend. You can include a greeting note, itinerary of events, a detailed map and a list of places to visit. Ask the hotel concierge to hang it on the door knob to their hotel room so when they arrive, they can check out all the local attractions . (Who doesn’t like to have something special waiting for their arrival
How To:
You will need 8 1/2 ” x 14″ Card Stock Paper, a ruler, craft knife, 2 1/2 inch circle craft punch, bone folder, & round label stickers
Print the word “welcome” twice across the top of a legal-size sheet of card stock. With a ruler and a craft knife, cut the card stock in half lengthwise; punch a hole on the bottom of each piece with a 2 1/2 inch circle punch. With a bone folder, crease each card stock strip 4 inches from the top and fold to form a pocket. Fasten sides with round label stickers
Here is my version of the project.
Enjoy!
