Sharon came to us last November and was ready to plan her wedding – one problem…She was traveling a whole lot and we only had 6 months to plan. WAIT! That’s not a problem!!! We met with all her vendors in 1 week, made decisions and we were good to go! Chris is from Australia so Sharon wanted to give her new Ausie family a true Texas Welcome! Held at Star Hill Ranch we planned a true Texas Dance Hall party!

We had the opportunity to work with Austin.com and Sir Rod Entertainment on the Michael Huff Foundation Casino Event. Assisting with nailing down the event location, rentals, caterer, photographer, bar and flowers was a great experience to get involved for a good cause. (And we got to meet some awesome NFL players!)

We were asked by our dear friend, Ronald Cheng, to assist with their Media party for the new Chinatown Restaurant. It’s located smack dab in the middle of downtown Austin. This could not have been a more successful event. With dragon dancers and black cats you would have thought it was Chinese New Year!

Snow in Austin??? It happens with the help of Event FX. We had a great time planning this simple and sweet cake reception at Brentwood Oaks Church of Christ. Kenny’s Coffee provided a coffee bar to accompany all the cakes.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
Returning to the location that they met and got engaged, Hannah and Dave were married at Hyatt Regency Austin. The perfect location to throw a wedding with a view of the city they love and some fireworks to go with it!
The chupah was topped with Hannah’s mother’s vintage wedding vail estimated to be 10′ long! WOW! We made a custom ribbon board that held the place cards. One of my favorite things about this amazing wedding!

Big Day goes {GREEN} and I don’t mean the color. We helped this couple with their wedding plans while being environmentally conscious. There are several Austin vendors that provide the appropriate resources to be eco-friendly. With the help of Barr Mansion – the only USDA Certified event facility in the United States. The bride had all her wedding stationary printed on recycled paper. We even reused the RSVP cards for the guests’ place cards. The bride and groom ended the night by departing in a Clean Air Limo. What can you do to make your wedding Environmentally Friendly?

It’s good to be back at Green Pastures! To accompany the green lawn we added some crisp colors to the mix. Thanks to Melanie from Last Petal. Eric Doggett continues to amaze us with these wonderful pics!

It’s Fall! And what a way to showcase your love for fall than with a fall theme wedding! Fall Wreaths, pumpkin escort cards and chocolate sunflowers adorned Wild Rose Hall from top to bottom.
